President and CEO named to national chamber association\u2019s board of directors<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Louisville, Ky<\/strong>.<\/strong> (July 30, 2024) \u2013 Last week, GLI\u2019s director of investor development, Jordan Clemons, was awarded the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award, which recognizes career sales achievement based on the total number or total dollar amount of chamber membership sales. In addition, GLI president and CEO, Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, was selected to serve on the ACCE Board of Directors for a three year term. Both announcements were made at the annual ACCE Convention held in Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n

Clemons earned recognition in the Silver category for achieving 750 transactions or $300,000 in sales\"\" of chamber memberships throughout his career. The award is presented in memory of Dana Ketterling, ACCE\u2019s resource development officer, who was a gifted membership professional and champion of chambers of commerce and the communities they serve. Clemons joined GLI in 2019 and this marks his second Dana Ketterling Award.<\/p>\n

\u201cMembership sales professionals are community champions, highlighting the impact their organizations have on the communities they serve,\u201d said ACCE President & CEO Sheree Anne Kelly. \u201cWe congratulate our industry\u2019s top achievers on their success.\u201d<\/p>\n

At last week\u2019s conference, Davasher-Wisdom was also appointed to the board of directors for ACCE, which represents 9,000 professionals who work for and with more than 1,300 chambers of commerce. Members of ACCE\u2019s board of directors represent more than 50 organizations, including many of the world\u2019s largest and most influential regional chambers of commerce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to represent GLI on the ACCE Board of Directors, which will allow me to share our success and best practices to shape the chamber industry,\u201d said Davasher-Wisdom. \u201cGLI is continually recognized as a top Chamber of Commerce thanks to the work of our amazing staff, like Jordan, who continue to drive our mission and impact in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
