The newly established Kentucky Healthcare Workforce Investment Fund will remove barriers to high-quality careers in the healthcare field and help employers fill their growing workforce needs. The legislation also creates partnerships between the state, employers, and higher education to quickly train and upskill healthcare professionals. GLI applauds the General Assembly for passing this legislation and encourages Governor Beshear to swiftly sign it into law.
